Metals

Ferrous
metals (those containing iron) and nonferrous metals (like aluminum
cans) can be easily recycled. Making cans from recycled aluminum,
compared with new aluminum, reduces water pollution by 97%,
air pollution by 95% and uses 90-97% less energy. “Tin” cans
are mostly steel; recycling preserves these metals in useful
form. Remember also to recycle other metals such as copper and
lead.
